John W. Jackson – President, Automated Benefits Inc.
John W. Jackson has been helping organizations design and continually manage their group benefit plans for over 25 years. Before joining Automated Benefits, Mr. Jackson spent ten years as national partner for the benefits practice at KPMG LLP and was the account manager of global accounts for Watson Wyatt Worldwide for the five years prior. Mr. Jackson co-wrote Canadian Group Insurance Benefits: A Practitioner’s Guide & Reference Manual and Canadian Group Benefits – A Practical Application, compulsory reading for several university courses that support insurance and Human Resource degree programs across Canada.

Mr. Jackson is a graduate of the University of Toronto and former advisory board member of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute (CPBI) and the International Federation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (IFCEBS).

James R. Swayze – CEO, Automated Benefits Corp.
James R. Swayze brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry to Automated Benefits. Throughout his career, Mr. Swayze held senior management positions across the globe, including the United States, Canada and various parts of Europe. Prior to Automated Benefits, Mr. Swayze co-founded and served as president of Insource Limited, a financial services marketing and product development consulting firm. When Insource was purchased by General Electric (GE) Capital in 1997, Mr. Swayze joined GE Employers Reassurance Canada (GE ERC) as senior vice president, business development. There, he helped develop the start-up life reinsurance division of GE ERC in Canada into what is now an entity worth over $1 billion. In 2000, Mr. Swayze was promoted to the North American headquarters of GE ERC’s parent company, General Electric (GE), where he assumed the role of vice president, sales and marketing for North America.

Richard Adair – CFO, COO, Automated Benefits Corp.
Richard Adair is a practiced finance professional with a career spanning more than18 years. For the last 15 years Mr. Adair has acted as chief financial officer for several start-up technology companies while continuing to provide advisory services to these public and privately held companies through his personal consulting firm. In addition to handling the financial functions of these companies, Mr. Adair also took on the added responsibility of operational management and continues to do so. In 2007, Mr. Adair was promoted and now acts as both CFO and COO of Automated Benefits Corporation. 

Mr. Adair holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario and received a Chartered Business Valuator designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.
